Teter Auto Contract Terms and Conditions
Estimates provided are only an approximation of the amount of labor and materials to be provided to you for the services requested based on the anticipated work to be done. Final charges may deviate from the original estimate. You hereby authorize the repair work or inspection described in this estimate to be done along with the procurement of the necessary material(s), including authorization to operate the vehicle for on-road testing and/or inspection. If any additional repairs are required, we will prepare a revised estimate providing the cost of additional parts and labor and total revised cost.
There is no warranty for used parts or customer-supplied parts. There is no refund on any deposits made. In the event that pickups are not made within 48 hours of completion, a charge of $50.00 per day will be added for storage on all parts or engines. Vehicles will have a storage fee of $100.00 per day. In the event that products or vehicle are not picked up within 30 days after notification of completion of repairs, the product or vehicle shall be considered abandoned by the customer and shall become the property of Teter Automotive LLC. No refund of deposit(s) or parts supplied by customer shall be due in the event of abandonment or in any circumstance. No returns or refunds on special-ordered items or electrical parts. All products or vehicles that are dropped off for work must have a deposit received within seven days of drop-off.
If no deposit is made within this timeframe, a $50.00-per-day storage charge shall be added for parts and $100.00 per day for vehicles. If no deposit is made within 30 days of product or vehicle being dropped off, such products or vehicles shall be considered abandoned and shall become the property of Teter Automotive LLC. If the above estimate is for a warranty inspection of an engine brought to Teter Automotive LLC outside of the vehicle and if the engine or issue is determined to not be covered under the Teter Automotive LLC limited warranty, the customer agrees to pay an inspection fee of $800.00. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
If no payment is made within 48 hours after determination of non-coverage under the Teter Automotive LLC limited warranty, the customer agrees to pay a $100.00-per-day storage charge. If no deposit is made within 30 days of completion of warranty inspection, all parts or vehicles dropped off for inspection, including customer-supplied parts, shall be considered abandoned and shall become the property of Teter Automotive LLC. THE VEHICLE IS SUBJECT TO REPOSESSION.
By signing, I agree to these terms and conditions and acknowledge that I have read, understood and agreed to the terms /conditions of the Teter Automotive LLC warranty and break-in procedures. I agree that all disputes arising from, relating to or connected in any way with this Agreement shall be exclusively litigated in the Circuit Court of Kane County and I agree that such forum does not constitute an inconvenient forum and consent to jurisdiction in such Court. All items shipped from Teter Automotive must be inspected for shipping damage within 48 hours of receiving shipment. If shipping damage is found after 48 hours of receiving the item Teter Automotive is not liable for any shipping damages.
I agree that Teter Automotive LLC is not responsible for loss or damage to my vehicle, including loss of articles left in the vehicle, including, without limitation, in case of fire, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond the control of Teter Automotive LLC. Customer agrees that any customer-supplied parts shall not exceed a value of $100.00, and that in the event that Teter Automotive LLC damages, loses or otherwise becomes responsible for such part(s), that its liability shall be limited to $100.00. Customer agrees that any vehicle that is dropped off for inspection or service has a value of less than $1500.00. In the event that Teter Automotive LLC damages, loses or otherwise becomes responsible for such vehicle, that its liability shall be limited to $1500.00. Customer agrees that their vehicle will not be driven on public roads and is for off-road use only.
Customer agrees that car was delivered to Teter Automotive, LLC via trailer and that Customer will be responsible for removing their vehicle via trailer. Customer has inspected their vehicle before leaving and agrees that no damage was caused to the vehicle by Teter Automotive, LLC. Customer waives claims of physical damage to the vehicle unless Teter Automotive LLC is informed of such damage prior to the vehicle being transported away from Teter Automotive LLC’s facility. Customer agrees that they shall not disclose any work Teter Automotive LLC has done to their vehicle or product including but not limited to through online postings or reviews.
The parties agree that damages arising from a violation of this provision would be difficult to calculate, and therefore agree that Customer will be liable for liquidated damages in the amount of $5,000.00, which the parties agree is a reasonable estimate of the damages that would arise from a violation of this paragraph. Teter Automotive LLC is not responsible for any delays caused by unavailability or slow delivery of parts by supplier(s).
Customer agrees that they shall not disparage Teter Automotive LLC or its owners, agents, or employees or otherwise take any action which could reasonably be expected to adversely affect Company’s or its employees’ personal or professional reputations, including but not limited to through online postings or reviews, and even if customer reasonably believes that such statements are true.
The parties agree that damages arising from a violation of this provision would be difficult to calculate, and therefore agree that a violation of this provision shall carry liquidated damages in the amount of $5,000.00. There is no warranty expressed or implied on this above estimate/invoice. Custom order items have Approximately 6–10-week completion time. Everything on above invoice is as is. This contract supersedes any previous contract. We offer refund and/or exchange within the first 30 days of your purchase, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. There are no refunds on any special ordered item’s, vehicle service deposits or engine block deposits.
